The quality of bush milk

Compared to convict cows in industrial farms, producing huge amounts of milk and fed who knows what, our free-range cows, camels and goats roam freely on vast uncontaminated natural pasture. During the dry season they are usually given some simple, natural supplements.

Local cows and camels do not yield much milk; maybe that is why it is so much richer, sweeter, creamier and more delicious than milk from high-yield cows.

Thanks to years of collaboration with herders, the quality of our raw milk is unmatched in any neighbouring country. On one hand extension work has made suppliers aware of the importance of animal health and milking hygiene issues, but also each can of milk delivered is checked, and rejected if it is not up to par.
